A green, terpenic aroma chemical with a fresh herbal-camphoraceous character and a light woody undertone. Reminiscent of oxidised ocimene facets — slightly resinous and dry, with a mildly balsamic edge as it settles.AI · claude-opus-4-7

Sweet, woody-caramellic, rather mild odor of Furan-type, the woody notes resembling the odor of sawdust.

Bitter-sweet taste

Uses in perfumery

Could find use in perfumery in the reconstruction of essential oils and flower absolutes. At use levels of 1 to 3% it may introduce very 'natural' woody-haylike, herbaceous-sweet topnotes. Also interesting as a component of low-cost industrial fragrances.
