A Schiff base of cuminaldehyde and methyl anthranilate — deep, warm orange-blossom/neroli character wrapped around a distinctly spicy, cumin-tinged facet. Opens slightly sweaty-spicy and settles into a rich, powdery-floral warmth with the fixative, indolic-anthranilate depth typical of methyl anthranilate Schiff bases.AI · claude-opus-4-7

Appearance

Intensely yellow, somewhat viscous liquid.

Odor

Herbaceous-sweet, very tenacious odor. In dilution reminiscent of Mandarin peel oil, but overall rather sharp and not as Orangeblossom-like as most of the conventional Schiff's bases.

Production

Produced from Cuminaldehyde and Methylanthranilate by condensation.
