A bright, juicy fruity-green note with a distinctive fresh apple and pear character, underscored by a light aromatic-woody nuance. Diffusive and clean, it lends a natural fruit-peel sparkle to top notes and softens quickly into a mild green backdrop.AI · claude-opus-4-7

Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils.

Odor

Powerful, sweet-fruity odor of considerable tenacity.

Sweet and distinctly fruity taste in high dilution, reminiscent of Raspberry.

Uses in perfumery

This ester is used in fruit and honey imitation flavors at concentrations equivalent to about 20 ppm in the finished product. It acts partly as a blender, partly as a fixative for some of the more volatile aliphatic fruit esters, or the lower phenylacetates in honey bases.
