Beta-hydroxypropionic aldehyde diethylacetal (3-hydroxypropanal diethyl acetal) is a mild, fresh green aromachemical with a soft aldehydic-fruity nuance. In isolation it reads as clean and slightly herbal, with a subtle sweetness and none of the sharp bite of free aldehydes — the acetal masking softens it considerably.AI · claude-opus-4-7

Sweet-floral, almost rosy and slightly musty-woody odor of moderate to good tenacity.
