Extremely pungent, sharp, and irritating — a harsh green-aldehydic bite reminiscent of acrolein but with a slightly softer, more herbaceous edge. Not used as a finished perfumery material in its own right; it is a highly reactive, low-boiling α,β-unsaturated aldehyde with an acrid, lachrymatory character.AI · claude-opus-4-7
