Methyl heptyl ketone (2-nonanone) has a fresh, fruity-herbal odor with a slightly fatty, waxy undertone reminiscent of unripe pear, melon rind, and cheese-like nuances. It carries a mild citrus-green freshness that softens quickly into a creamy ketonic warmth.AI · claude-opus-4-7
