Methyl hexyl ketone (2-octanone) has a sharp, fresh-fruity odor with green, herbaceous and slightly fatty-waxy facets. It reads a bit like unripe apple or pear with a soapy, ketonic edge, drying to a mild cheesy-buttery undertone.AI · claude-opus-4-7
