Prenol (3-methyl-2-buten-1-ol) is a small unsaturated alcohol with a sharp, pungent green-fruity odor. It has a fresh herbaceous character reminiscent of unripe fruit, cassis leaf and a faint tropical facet, with a somewhat harsh alcoholic top note that mellows into a subtle sweet-fruity impression.AI · claude-opus-4-7
