A rich, heady white-floral absolute with a creamy, lactonic sweetness and a green, mushroomy top facet. Underneath sits a soft indolic-animalic hum reminiscent of tuberose and jasmine, with a slightly waxy, tropical fruitiness that persists into the drydown.AI · claude-opus-4-7

Perfume and Flavor Materials of Natural Origin, page 172.
Pale orange or amber colored, waxy masses.
Fatty-floral, somewhat fresh-green odor with a tuberose-like, sweet undertone, faintly reminiscent of the fragrance of the gardenia flower, but with heavy emphasis on the leafy-green notes.
Gardenia Absolute was used for its intense and rich, floral effect and its peculiar sweet-green note.
A concréte of Gardenia flowers was produced many years ago in the Indian Ocean island of La Réunion.
